My flaws and action plan for improvement

Action plan

Improvement comes after realization and regular practice. For a developer, it is a necessity to acquire certain skills that guides him to a decent position in the programming world.

Java being the core part of the module, it illustrated an entirely different picture of programming. Being a new face in java, the structure of the program confuses me. Taking me a step back are the proper coding with functions of methods and parameters. To say in few words, it’s been hard to cope of with.

 I initially should develop a positive magnetism by self-search and initiation.To improve my flaws I have planned to learn java tutorials from YouTube. Javalessons.com and java world.com are the sites which can help me know the concepts of programming. I have also collected e-books like “The java language specification” and “Thinking in java”.  Furthermore, learning C++, PHP and web designing will give me various option in platform selection.

For the module problem solving in IT, I can’t give a proper logic to my points. Time management is not what it had to be with an effective solver. So, I have made up few plans for improvement. I would implement using lumosity.com. I will also go through brainstorming.com, mimdmeister.com and bubbl.us which will certainly increase my IQ and problem tackling skills.

Preparing for study skills in computing, where I lack a Standard English both verbal and written, I made a mind map to have a decent language. I will continue listening to BBC. I have planned to give 15 minutes of my day verbally practicing English through newspapers. YouTube has made access to many English tutorials for a good accent, which will be used by me the most. Going through e-book on powerful English speaking will certainly make me a good speaker.

 Perfection comes from hard work and the will to work. The ability to dedicate our time and resource for study is what I will be implementing on the days to come.

Skills, attributes and employment development

Learning IT in major computing gives us a handful of opportunities. Computing, as many people think is not only related to its programming portion. Going to the core of the semester, we have many interesting topics to deal with.

Problem solving in IT basically deals with the problem tackling skills which has to be applied in our day to day life. A good problem solver is what the global market requires. A person is judged by the skills and the techniques he applies and the attitudes with which he deals with the problem faced. I except to gain skills and a positive attitude to lead the world with better options.

 Study skills for computing is all related to the skills of preparing and presenting our work. Reports, presentation and group works will definitely will help me to build up my confidence. A good speaker and a presenter have a good opportunity in future as our work is just not only how good we made it but also how we choose to present it in front of the audience.

Introduction to programming is the key module of computing. Learning java as a programming language I expect to gain a core concept about it through which I would be able to make a good path of my own in the programming world. As java is  worldwide popular thus learning programming through it will give me an opportunity to stand  in any part of the world with my ideas.

Logic basically though maths is found to be widely related to programming. It would help me to deal with programming portion in an efficient and logical way .Though logic is simple in module, but the skill it provides will definitely make us better.
